Our client came to the United States from India on a B-2 visitor’s visa in February 2022. He married a U.S. Citizen in March 2022. He retained our office on April 13, 2022 for his green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on April 29, 2022. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. On December 2, 2022, the USCIS approved the I-130 petition without an interview. However, on the same day, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence for our client’s I-693 immigration medical record. Our office filed our client’s I-693 record on December 22, 2022. OnJanuary 18, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
