CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client came to the United States from the Philippines on a B-2 visitor’s visa in March 2021. She married a U.S. Citizen in July 2021. She retained our office on July 13, 2021 for her green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on August 17, 2021. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. On November 8, 2022, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence for bona fide marital evidence with her U.S. citizen husband. Our office filed our client’s response to RFE on January 26, 2023. On February 16, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
