Our client retained us to petition for his mother, who came to the U.S. from South Korea. He is a U.S. citizen, and his mother came to the United States as a Visa Waiver Program visitor in February 2024. Since then, his mother has remained in the United States. They contacted our office in September 2024 and discussed with us his I-130 petition and his mother’s adjustment of status. After the consultation, he retained our office on September 19, 2024.
Once retained, our firm filed an I-130 Petition and the I-485 Application for his mother on October 14, 2024. On April 18, 2025, our client’s mother’s adjustment of status was approved.
