CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status
CLIENT: Filipina
LOCATION: Rocky River, OH
Our client arrived in the United States from the Philippines as a minor in 2004 on a B-2 visitor’s visa. She remained in the country and later became a DACA recipient. Following her marriage to a U.S. citizen in August 2025, she retained our office on October 6, 2025, to handle her green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status application on October 16, 2025. The process proceeded smoothly, with all receipt notices and fingerprint appointments arriving on schedule. We thoroughly prepared our clients for their interview via conference calls. On December 22, 2025, our client was interviewed at the USCIS office in Cleveland, Ohio, accompanied by Sung Hee Yu, Esq. On December 23, 2025, the application was officially approved.
