Our client, a Colombian national, contacted our office in September 2024 regarding her I-751 application. After marrying a U.S. citizen in April 2022, she obtained a two-year conditional green card in January 2023. As her residency was set to expire in January 2025, she and her husband were required to file an I-751 Joint Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
She retained our services, and we filed her I-751 application with USCIS on October 14, 2024. On February 26, 2026, USCIS approved the application without issuing a Request for Evidence (RFE). Our client has since received her 10-year permanent resident card.
