Our client retained us to petition for her mother, who came to the U.S. from China with a B-2 visitor’s visa in September 2023. Her mother has remained in the United States since then. Our client had already filed the I-130 petition in January 2023, before her mother came to the U.S. She contacted our office regarding her mother’s adjustment of status and retained us on October 9, 2023.
Once retained, our firm filed the I-485 Application for her mother on December 11, 2023. Everything went smoothly, and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment arrived on time. On June 22, 2025, our client’s mother’s adjustment of status was approved.
