By the first week of April, the H-1B numerical cap for fiscal year 2026 had been reached. However, our client, being a non-profit organization affiliated with higher education, was eligible for a cap-exempt petition. Once retained, we filed the H-1B visa petition with supporting documents via premium processing on May 13, 2025. The H-1B application was approved on May 28, 2025.
