Our client is a public school district in Casa Grande, AZ. In May 2025, they retained our firm to assist with an H-1B extension for a foreign employee. The beneficiary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and serves as a Math Teacher—a role that qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education or its equivalent. The beneficiary has maintained H-1B status with this employer since July 2022.
We filed the H-1B petition via regular processing on June 26, 2025. On February 17, 2026, we submitted an I-907 request to upgrade the case to premium processing. Consequently, the petition was approved on March 2, 2026, without a Request for Evidence (RFE).
