CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client, who is a Canadian citizen, married her U.S. citizen spouse in October 2024. She entered the United States with a B-2 visitor’s visa in March 2025 to see him.
She retained our firm on July 7, 2025, to handle her green card application. We prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on July 17, 2025. The process went smoothly, with receipt notices and her biometrics appointment arriving in a timely manner. We thoroughly prepared our clients for the interview through several conference calls.
The interview was held on September 12, 2025, at the USCIS office in Columbus, Ohio. Her green card application was approved the very next day, on September 13, 2025.
