CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

A client from India entered the United States on an H-1B visa to work as a business analyst. After marrying a U.S. citizen in May 2023, he hired our firm on February 24, 2025, to handle his green card application. We prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on March 27, 2025.
The process went smoothly, with all receipt notices and the fingerprint appointment arriving on time. We thoroughly prepared our clients for their interview through conference calls. On August 12, 2025, the client was interviewed at the USCIS office in Cleveland, Ohio, and was accompanied by our attorney, Sung Hee (Glen) Yu, Esq. The green card application was approved the very next day, on August 13, 2025.
