Our client came to the United States from South Africa with a B-2 visitor’s visa in April 2023. She married a U.S. Citizen in July 2023, and her U.S. Citizen husband filed the I-130 petition for her in January 2024. Our office was retained on December 2, 2024, to handle her green card application, leveraging the pending I-130 petition. Our firm then prepared and filed the I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on December 26, 2024. Everything proceeded smoothly, with receipt notices and the fingerprint appointment arriving promptly. Prior to the interview, we thoroughly prepared our clients via conference calls. On May 28, 2025, our client was interviewed at the Minneapolis, MN USCIS office. Her green card application was subsequently approved on May 29, 2025.
