Our client came to the United States from Thailand in May 2022 on a J-1 exchange visitor’s visa. Her J-1 program was not subject to the two-year foreign residency requirement. She married a U.S. citizen in October 2023 and retained our office on September 26, 2024, for her green card application.
Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on October 21, 2024. Everything went smoothly, and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment all arrived on time. Prior to the interview, we thoroughly prepared our client via conference calls.
On May 20, 2025, our client was interviewed at the Cleveland, OH USCIS office. Attorney Sung Hee Yu, Esq. from our office also accompanied her. Eventually, on June 11, 2025, our client’s green card application was approved.
