Our client, a teacher, came to the United States from the Philippines under a J-1 Exchange Visitor visa that was not subject to the two-year foreign residency requirement. Following her marriage to a U.S. Citizen in May 2024, she retained our office on April 14, 2025, for her Green Card application. Our firm submitted the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application on August 21, 2025. We prepared our client for the interview through conference calls. On October 15, 2025, our client was interviewed at the Albuquerque, NM, USCIS office, and her Green Card was approved the following day.
