CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client, who came to the United States from Jamaica on a B-2 visitor’s visa in July 2019, has remained in the country since then. After marrying a U.S. citizen in October 2024, she retained our office on January 29, 2025 to handle her green card application. Our firm filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application on April 30, 2025. We prepared our client for her interview through a series of conference calls. On September 11, 2025, our client was interviewed at the Cleveland, Ohio USCIS office, accompanied by our attorney, Sung Hee Yu, Esq. The very next day, her green card was approved.
