CASE: Immigrant Visa / I-130 (F-1 category)
CLIENT: Korean
LOCATION: Seoul, South Korea
Our client contacted us in February 2020 regarding the immigrant visa processing for herself and her daughter. Her U.S. Citizen father had filed the I-130 petition for her in March 2011, and this petition was subsequently approved by the USCIS. Her visa number became available in recent years.
Our office was retained on February 20, 2025. Once retained, our office filed the immigrant visa packets with the National Visa Center (NVC) on June 6, 2025, which in turn forwarded the client’s materials to the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, South Korea.
In August 2025, an interview notice was set for the client at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul. On October 20, 2025, our client and her daughter appeared at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, South Korea. The interview went well, and on November 5, 2025, the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, South Korea approved and issued the immigrant visas for her and her daughter.
With the approved Immigrant Visas, our client and her daughter can travel to the United States immediately, and they will receive their green cards within two months of entry.
