Our client has a current employer who was willing to petition for her I-140 petition. Our client holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a valid South Dakota Teaching license, and has worked for her employer since August 2018. Based on our client’s educational and work background, our office determined that she’s eligible for EB-3 classification for her I-140 petition. Our client retained us in March 2023.
Before filing PERM, our firm prepared the prevailing wage request, job order, and all other important steps for pre-PERM filing. Within a week of our retention, the prevailing wage request was filed. After we obtained the PW determination, her employer filed the job order on September 27, 2023. We filed PERM on January 25, 2024.
On June 5, 2025, the PERM Labor Certification was approved — an EB-3 position for the Filipina beneficiary.
