Our client’s current employer is willing to sponsor her for a third-preference (EB-3) immigrant visa petition (I-140). The client holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, possesses a valid South Dakota teaching license, and has been employed with her current sponsor since February 2022. Based on her educational and professional background, our office determined she is clearly eligible for EB-3 classification.
The client retained our services in January 2024. Prior to filing the PERM application, our firm prepared the prevailing wage request, job order, advertisements, internal job postings, and the recruitment report. We filed the prevailing wage request within one week of being retained. Following the prevailing wage determination, the employer filed the job order on July 1, 2024, and we filed the PERM application on October 3, 2024.
On March 2, 2026, the PERM Labor Certification was approved without an audit for the EB-3 position. The client is now eligible to file her I-140 petition at any time.
