Our client came to the United States from South Korea on a J-1 exchange visitor visa. He married a lawful permanent resident in September 2020 and retained our office for his green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition on September 29, 2020. We also filed our client’s J-1 NOS waiver application in October 2020. His J-1 waiver was approved in March 2021 and our office prepared and filed the Adjustment of Status Application on April 7, 2021. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permits all came on time. On August 23, 2022, the USCIS approved the I-130 and on December 7, 2022, his green card application was approved without an interview.
