Our client retained us for a green card application for her father who came to the U.S. from the Philippines. Our client is a naturalized US citizen and her father came to the United States in April 2021 on a B-2 visa. She also filed the I-130 petition for her father in July 2021 and it was approved by the USCIS in October 2021. She contacted our office in April of 2002. She retained our office on April 25, 2022.
We filed the I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on May 17, 2022. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permit came on time. On December 22, 2022, our client’s father’s adjustment of status application was approved.
