Our client came to the United States from Colombia in January 2022 on a B-2 visitor’s visa. Since then, she has remained in the United States. She married a U.S. Citizen in April 2022. She retained our office on May 7, 2022 for her green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on May 24, 2022. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. On December 6, 2022, the USCIS approved the I-130 petition without an interview. The USCIS issued a Request for Evidence for our client’s I-693 immigration medical record. Our office filed our client’s I-693 record on January 4, 2023. On January 12, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
