Our client came to the United States from Canada on a H-1b visa. She married a U.S. Citizen in September 2020. She retained our office on February 28, 2022 for her green card application. Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on April 7, 2022. Everything went smoothly and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. On November 30, 2022, the USCIS approved the I-130 petition without an interview. The USCIS issued a Request for Evidence for our client’s I-693 immigration medical record. Our office filed our client’s I-693 record on January 17, 2023. Without an interview, on February 1, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
