Our client retained us to petition for her mother from India, who came to the U.S. on a tourist visa. Our client is a naturalized US Citizen, and her mother came to the United States in June 2022. She contacted our office in July 2022 regarding her I-130 petition and her mother’s adjustment of status application. She retained our office on July 14, 2022.
Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Immigrant Visa Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on August 16, 2022. Everything went very well, and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. Before the interview, we thoroughly prepared our clients as well. On March 16, 2023, our client’s mother was interviewed at the Cleveland, Ohio USCIS office. Attorney Sung Hee (Glen) Yu, Esq. from our office accompanied our clients. On March 17, 2023, our client’s mother’s adjustment of status application was approved.
