I-130 and I-485 Marriage-Based Petition and Adjustment of Status Approved for Nepalese Client in Findlay Ohio

CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status (F-2A category)

CLIENT: Nepalese

LOCATION: Findlay, OH

Our client came to the United States from Nepal on an F-1 student visa.  She married a lawful permanent resident in December 2021 and retained our office for her green card application.  Our firm prepared and filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Adjustment of Status Application on February 17, 2022.  We were able to file both I-130 and I-485 applications simultaneously since the priority date for the F-2A category was current at the time of the filing. All went smoothly and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permit came on time. Before the interview, we prepared our clients via conference calls. On December 22, 2022, our client was interviewed at the Cleveland, OH USCIS office. Attorney Sung Hee (Glen) Yu, Esq. accompanied our clients. On March 30, 2023, her green card application was approved.
