Our client retained us to petition for his father who came to the U.S. from the United Kingdom. Our client is a naturalized US citizen and his father came to the United States in October 2022 as a visa waiver visitor from the United Kingdom. He contacted our office in November of 2022 and discussed with us his I-130 petition and his father’s adjustment of status application. He retained our office on November 3, 2022.
Once retained, our firm filed the I-130 Immigrant Visa Petition and the Adjustment of Status on January 12, 2023 for his father. All went well and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. On August 10, 2023, our client’s father’s adjustment of status was approved.
