CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client came to the United States from Taiwan and worked in the U.S. with an O-1B visa as a pianist. She married a U.S. Citizen in October 2021. She retained our office on May 29, 2022 for her green card application. Our firm filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application on June 24, 2022. All went well and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. However, on July 12, 2023, the USCIS issued a Request for Evidence and asked our client to submit additional bona fide marital documents between her and her husband. Our office filed our client’s response to RFE on August 24, 2023. On August 30, 2023, our client’s green card application was approved.
