Our client works at a pharmacy in Pasadena, TX. They contacted our office in May 2023 to seek legal assistance from our office for their foreign employee’s H-1B extension. The beneficiary obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and has a valid Pharmacist license in Texas. The proffered position for the Beneficiary is a Pharmacist which qualifies as a specialty occupation since the minimum requirements for this position are a Doctor of Pharmacy or its equivalent. Our office helped this employee’s H-1B case in 2020 and it was approved by the USCIS.
Once retained, our office filed the H-1B visa petition with various documents on May 22, 2023, via the regular processing service. On December 18, 2023, our office filed the I-907 premium processing upgrade request. Our client’s H-1B application was approved less than a month later. His H-1B is good until September 29, 2026.
