Our Nigerian client is a registered nurse who currently works in the United States. Her prospective employer was willing to petition her for a third-preference employment immigrant visa petition as a registered nurse. Since she is a registered nurse, she is eligible for “Schedule A” classification.
Our client has a Texas Registered Nursing License. Our firm told her that her prospective employer could petition her as a Registered Nurse under the Schedule A category. Our office was retained and started on her Prevailing Wage Request. Her request was filed on June 28, 2022. We filed the I-140 application on February 2, 2023 via regular processing. Our client also filed her I-485 application concurrently. We included the job offer letter and other necessary supporting documents.
Upon our client’s request on February 15, 2024, we upgraded her to premium processing by filing an I-907 application with the required fees. On February 29, 2024, the I-140 was approved.
