CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client came to the United States from Nigeria with a B-2 visitor’s visa in 2018. Later, she changed her status from B-2 to F-1. She married a U.S. Citizen in January 2026 and retained our office on April 14, 2026 for her green card application. Our firm prepared the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application and filed them on May 7, 2026. Before the interview, we prepared our clients via conference calls. On September 15, 2026, our client was interviewed at the Baltimore, MD USCIS office. The next day, our client’s green card was approved.
