CASE: I-130 (Petitions for Parent) and Adjustment of Status

Our client retained us to petition for her mother who came to the U.S. from Albania. Our client is a naturalized US citizen and her mother came to the United States in December 2018 with a B-2 visitor’s visa from Albania. Since then, her mother has remained in the United States. Our client contacted our office in July 2023 and discussed with us regarding her I-130 petition and her mother’s adjustment of status. After the consultation, she retained our office on July 31, 2023.
Once retained, our firm filed the I-130 Petition and the I-485 Application on September 7, 2023 for her mother. All went well and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permits came on time. On November 21, 2023, our client’s mother’s adjustment of status application was approved.
