CASE: I-130 (Petitions for Parent) and Adjustment of Status

Our client retained us to petition for her mother from South Korea, who came to the U.S. Our client is a naturalized US citizen and her mother came to the United States in January 2022 with a B-2 visitor’s visa from South Korea. Since then, her mother has remained in the United States. Our client contacted our office in April 2023 and discussed her I-130 petition and her mother’s adjustment of status application. She retained our office on April 10, 2023.
Once retained, our firm filed the I-130 Petition and the I-485 Application for her mother on July 6, 2023. All went well and the receipt notices, fingerprint appointment, and work permits came on time. On November 28, 2023, our client’s mother’s adjustment of status application was approved.
