CASE: Marriage-Based Adjustment of Status

Our client came to the United States from the Netherlands as a visa waiver visitor in December 2022. In January 2023, she married her U.S. citizen husband. She retained our office for her green card application on February 6, 2023. Our firm filed the I-130 Petition and I-485 Application on March 2, 2023. All went well and the receipt notices and fingerprint appointment came on time. Before the interview, we prepared our client via conference calls. On January 9, 2024, our client was interviewed at the Minneapolis USCIS office. A day later, our client’s green card application was approved.
