CASE: I-485 based on Approved I-140 (EB-1B)

Our client is an assistant professor from China currently teaching at a state university that petitioned her for a first-preference I-140 (EB-1B category). Holding a Ph.D., she has worked for the university since 2023 while maintaining her H-1B status. Her employer previously filed an I-140 petition on her behalf, which was approved with a priority date of June 28, 2021.
